1. GRADE 3L
Length of fiber is from 90cm (3 feet) upwards. Color of fiber is a mixture of whitish and yellowish. 
It is free of defective decortications and properly brushed. Free of undecorticated barks, harshness, knots, 
tousled and bunchy ends. It is also free of tows.

2. GRADE 3 (or 3SHORT)
Length of fiber is from 60cm (2 feet) to 89cm. Color of fibre is a mixture of whitish and yellowish. 
It is free of defective decortications and be properly brushed. Free of undercoated barks, harshness, knots, 
tousled and bunchy ends. It is also free of tows.

3. GRADE UG
Length of fiber is from 60cm (2 feet) upwards. Color of fiber is brownish and spotted due to damaged leaf or 
greenish due to insufficient water during decorations. Moreover, fiber is properly brushed, free of undercoated barks, 
harshness, knots, tousled and bunchy ends. It is also free of tows.

4. GRADE S.S.U.G. (SUB STANDARD UNDER GRADE)
Length of fiber is not less than 60cm (2 feet). Color of fiber varies from yellowish to more dark and blemished. 
It is free of undercoated barks, harshness, knots, tousled and bunchy ends,
rotten fiber and tows.

5. GRADE TOW 1 (TOW NO. 1)
This is fiber which has been cut and thrown behind the brushing machines during the process of brushing. Color of fiber should be creamy white to cream. 
It should be free of undercoated barks, knots, dusts, and sweepings and should not contain fiber of other mentioned grades.

6. GRADE TOW 2 (TOW NO. 2)
This is fiber which has been cut and thrown behind the brushing machines during the process of brushing. Color of fiber is brownish, spotted, 
yellowish or greenish. Moreover, fiber is free of undecorticated barks, knots, dusts, and sweepings and does not contain fiber of other grades.
