│ BEFORE MEASUREMENT │

Place 4 pieces of 1.5V battery into the battery compartment in the bottom of the instrument.
According to Powder, Flour[308]/ Red Pepper[320]/ Tapioca(Cassava)[350]/ Sweet Potato[A 330]/ Potato[B 330]/ Corn[C 330] sign appears on LCD about for 20 seconds, and disappears.
Place the instrument and the testing samples at the same temperature of a room around 10 minutes.

│ MEASUREMNET │

Turn the cap of "Test Cell" clockwise and open it.
With a spoon, fill "Test Cell" tightly with the testing samples.
Turn the cap of "Test Cell" counter-clockwise and close it.
Watching insert holes, put "Test Cell" in the instrument.
Press "MEASURE" button. And then the numbers of times & the moisture content display on LCD.
The measured value displays on LCD about for 50 seconds and blinks about for 10 seconds(Auto Hold function)

When the moisture content in the testing samples is out of measuring ranges, [Er H] or [Er L] sign appears on LCD.

│ AVERAGE DATA │

When pressing "AVERAGE" button after measurement, The measured numbers and the average value of them display on LCD about for 50 seconds and blink about for 10 seconds.
Average data are available up to 9 times of measurement.
