We are seeking qualified OEM suppliers for split-core current transformers and/or inductive energy-harvesting subassemblies for use in compact overhead distribution-line monitoring equipment. The objective is to harvest power from an energized 7.2kV distribution conductor, typically operating in the 10A–50A current range, to support a target regulated output of 12VDC at 1A, equivalent to 12W average DC power. We are open to solutions ranging from individual split-core transformers, where we would handle rectification and power management, to multi-transformer subassemblies with rectification, protection, balancing logic, and combined DC output. Estimated quantities are 200–300 units in Year 1 and 4,000–6,000 units annually thereafter, with shipment destination in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Responses are requested by June 5, 2026; finalist suppliers will be asked to provide samples for testing, with a target supplier decision by July 8, 2026.
